Players Ineligible to Compete or Practice Ineligible players may formally petition their coaches and teachers to become re-eligible once every week. Progress reports, quarter grades, or most current Synergy grades for all classes will be acceptable to regain eligibility. ![]() Players may use a standardized grade check filled out by their teachers or they may log into their Synergy account. Players who have been declared academically ineligible to compete may petition their coach to be reinstated to "competitive status" once they become academically eligible. Players Returning to Competition via Academic Eligibility The Synergy ParentVUE app allows parents to monitor their students grades and attendance. Players who are academically ineligible to compete are still allowed to attend practice and participate, but they are NOT ALLOWED to compete in school-to-school competitive matches, tournaments, or other eSports events until they regain academic eligibility Students Ineligible to Compete but Eligible to Practice Students are NOT REQUIRED take a physical in order to compete in eSports. Additional requirements are at the discretion of each individual campus. Second semester grades will be used to determine initial competition eligibility for the Spring eSports season.Īll students who compete or participate in eSports must have a modified-athletic packet on file: At a minimum this packet will contain an Athletic Release, Discipline Code Summary, Ethics in Sports, Photo Video Release.
